Developing Environmental Skills in Rural Europe
'DESIRE'
During 2008 Grampus will be promoting the DESIRE Leonardo da Vinci project, to provide funded 5-week work experience placements for environmental students in the UK. The Leonardo da Vinci programme and the project partners will cover the cost of flights, insurance and accommodation. The partners and destination countries in the project are:
Germany: Management of Dübener Heide Nature Park. Project dates: 7th July to 11th August 2008
Cyprus: FULL Wetland and coastal Management. Project dates: 2nd June to 6th July 2008
Czech Republic: Organic and Sustainable Land Management. Project dates: 10th July to 14th August 2008
Slovakia:FULL Eco-Tourism at Krajina. Project dates: 23rd July to 27th August 2008

You can contact Grampus now to express you interest in the project or request more information on the individual placement opportunities. To be eligible to participate in a placement, applicants must be registered on a relevant course of study in the UK in 2008.
