Training In Contemporary Applications of Traditional European Crafts (TICATEC)
The TICATEC Leonardo da Vinci project is aimed at students in initial vocational training who wish to gain experience of the rich and varied traditional skills and crafts, which exist throughout Europe. Applicants should be studying a relevant vocational course in the UK and should be able to demonstrate that the experience will be of benefit to their current course of study. All TICATEC placements are 5-weeks in duration. The start date for each placement is shown in the table below and on the individual placement pages. There is no strict deadline for submitting applications to this project. We operate a rolling programme of application assessments and allocate places to successful applicants as soon as we can. The Leonardo da Vinci funding available for these placements will cover travel (return travel from main UK airport), insurance and accommodation. Participants will usually be expected to buy and prepare their own food on a self-catering basis. Applicants should print out, read and complete the application form. The form should be signed and posted to Grampus. The address is given at the bottom of this page and on the form.
